December 2020

We have reached December, amazing really considering everything going on.

Anyway let's get to the news, shall we?

Things that happened last month:

Luck's Voice 2: Cashing In, came out on the 25th. It was plastered in the usual areas, but I'm going to toss the links up here. It's been about a week and it's doing alright. Has over a hundred reviews already, and most of them positive. So thank you, if you were one of them. I'm looking forward to continuing my weird western in the future.

What else has been going on? Well Binding Words 6: Lost Bonds, is nearly done being written, and the first chapter is up on Patreon for everyone to see, yes it is viewable by anyone. The preview chapters have started up as well for those who want more than just that first chapter. I'll be handing the book off to editors in a day or two and they will get hard to work on it. If you want to go read the chapter, here is the Patreon link:

Hmm, what else might you be interested in? Maybe the fact that Andie has started recording BW5? She's cracking through it at a good clip too, even with all my rollcall chapters. If you want to hear a bit of the magic being made, I fully support you. And yes before you ask she is going to do LV1 soon as well. AR3 is slated for next year, so don't ask her. Here's the link to her discord, just be nice, or else...

Okay, we covered what just came out, what is coming out next, and audio in progress. Oh, Podium has AG7 for audio, I have no idea where that is, once they tell me I'll post about it in the usual places.

Hell, I think that's it. Maybe just a note that after AR3 I should be starting AG8...but it's not going to happen. I want to take a trip to see the places I'm going to cover in that book, and well travel right now is not in the cards. I'm hoping for a trip in March, but that's up in the air too. So where does that leave the schedule after AR3? Good question, I'm not certain yet. I won't finish AR3 until sometime in Janurary at the earliest. Which is a few months gap from when I think, hopefully, I'll be traveling. I could flip LV3 into that spot, and hope I can get the trip done and then hit AG8. But if that doesn't happen I might write the first book of the series to replace AG, and then just shove Ag into the schedule when I can after it.

TLDR; schedule in flux after AR3. I'll update once I know more.

And that's it folks. The next blog post is after this year ends. Say good bye to 2020, but that means we have to admit 20201...and read that out loud, it makes me laugh.

  2. I just want to thank you for giving these details on a monthly basis :) I love being able to look forward to something that is planned soon, rather than that desperate hope of 'sometime in the future' that I get with some other authors. Looking forward to BW6, AG3, and LV3 (LV2 was a very enjoyable story).

    1. I do try to make things known, life does get in the way at times but I do try. Glad you enjoyed LV2.

  3. Saw LV2 in my feed and downloaded and finished slowly over a couple of days. I loved it and will be buying it on my next purchase cycle, as I do all of your books.

I find it interesting that right now the MC seems to be focusing more on the "Faith Healer" aspects of his role, ensuring that the people in his care can do more and reach further than they could before. His leadership style reminds me of many of the conversations between Leto II and Stilgar in Children of Dune. My compliments.

Sonya as a character is very striking and unique compared to any other female character in your works and I look forward to how you build her out and into the family.

Can't wait for the next release and look forward to your replacement series, after AG, though I am sad to see that series put to bed, I am glad that you are giving it a good landing. Nothing annoys me more about a story when the author keeps writing books in a series but I can't be brought to care about any of the characters any longer because the narrative has turned into a slog.

In either case, see you next year, Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice, Happy Holidays and may grace and goodness be upon you!

  5. I'm curious what you'll write to replace AG. Will it be an experiment? will you use a new setting? Are you going to play Cyberpunk and use it as inspiration? So many questions there, but above all else thank you for the story's and especially for LV2. It was a joy to read.

    1. I'm currently bouncing between two ideas, something involving dungeons and a mecha based one.

    2. Oh fun. I've yet to read a true polygamous/harem Mech story. I'm curious what sort of Mechs you end up with. I have read a Dungeon harem story, but only one and there was no, as of yet, love between the different companions. Either type will be a joy to read in your style, I look forward to it.

    1. I'm confused; is the Muderhobo book(s) based in Schinhofen's universe? I loved the book, but didn't realize it wasn't based in one of his own universes.

    2. The term murderhobo has been around for ages, and Dakota's book has no connection to my stuff.

  7. My fault, had never heard it before AG,sorry for that
