Let's hope 2026 starts to turn this decade around because fucking hell that'd be nice.
Onto book stuff...
First, we have a preorder up for Antecedents' Legacy 5. Sadly, it isn't going to be released into the wilds until the end of the month. But it's at least before AL6 eBook comes out.

Next, we had HC4 out at the start of December. It did what we expect out of HC, so good news there. Glad everyone is enjoying the series. I won't spoil things as the audio is a Podium thing and we have no idea how long that will take. But we do know Andie is recording it this month, so if you listen to her Discord server it's coming over there soon.
Now onto what is coming up...
Antecedents' Legacy 6: Dreams Manifest, will be out on eBook on February 1st. The preorder for that will likely be up around the 15th so I can talk about it during the live chat.
You'll need to come back next month for the link, or just pay attention to any of the usual social media pages, or the mailing list.
I'm currently neck deep in AR12, and it's a good book. Krogga arc is over, but we do see the goodbyes at the start of 12. I know there are some twists here people will not be expecting, fun times. If you want the preview of it, Patreon will be getting chapters in February.
As soon as I wrap that up and send it off to the editors, I'll be rolling over into HC5.
This is when I'll really start to see if a 3 series rotation works for me. The end of 2026 will tell me if I'm good as is, or if I need to switch back to a 4 series rotation. That'll all come down to the characters talking to me or not.

On the backend of things, my word count has been stable. I'm looking at a little over 950k words. Not as many as some authors, but nice and consistent for me. Of course some of that has been side projects I've had brewing, none of which is being talked about right now. If I removed the extra, I'm probably sitting at 720k words. But that's my free time that normally goes to video games, but sometimes something just says 'HEY' and I give it some time.
This year I'll only be at LITRPG-con in July, and a slight possibility of me hitting the one-day in Vegas again for Reader Nation. I'm skipping out on Dragon Con this year, not sure I can do both LITRPG and Dragon without feeling dead for a straight month. I'm currently going to hit both in 17 and then make my decision about what to do about them.
That's it. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed that 26 is better than the rest of the 2020s.
